Frequently Asked Questions

Rates are determined based upon various factors including:

• Where/how the voice over will be used (radio/TV, online/social media, etc.)
• Do you have a script or will I be writing one for you?
• How many words are in your script(s)
• Do you require background music?
• Does the audio need synced to an existing video?
• Will you require additional production (sound effects, audio clips, etc.)? 

Once I have the details of your project, I can give you the most accurate quote. You can also estimate the cost of your project by using the rates found here.

Typical turnaround time is 24 hours, often less depending on the scale of the project. For larger projects, I can provide an estimated completion date based on the length of your script and (if applicable) the amount of production it will require.

Revisions required due to an error on my part are always free. But, to avoid this, I always discuss with you beforehand if there are any tricky words I will need to pronounce, what you want in terms of tone/style/pace, etc. 

I offer one round of minor revisions made by the client for each project. This is in the event you have changed a few words in your script and require an updated read. 

However, if your script undergoes drastic changes or a complete rewrite, a new voice over will be recorded and you will be charged on a per-word basis (typically the same cost as the initial voice over).
